The repair standard for Ex equipment requires that those handling Ex equipment attend a refresher course every 3 years.​​

This is a pure refresher course aimed at those who have already passed Ex Theory and Hands-on and require a three year refresher.​

The assessment and course includes:

• Updates on revisions to UKEX, ATEX, DSEAR, Standards, equipment and procedures that have occurred over the past three years
